On May 14, 2020, the Company fulfilled the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation and completed the consolidation of power grid assets in the form of subsidiaries affiliation (Kurortenergo, JSC, Tsarskoye Selo Energy
Company, JSC, Saint Petersburg Power Grid, JSC and Petrodvorets Electric Company, JSC). The activities of the affiliated companies were terminated.
Consolidation made it possible to form a unified grid control center, improve the consumers power supply reliability, reduce the grid maintenance costs, and optimize capital investments.
In August 2020, the Company changed its corporate name to Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC. The renaming occurred as part of efforts to implement the single brand architecture for the Rosseti Group during the second phase of the program.
The Company has kept the historical name «Lenenergo» that has been used since 1932. This symbolizes the continuity of the experience and traditions of the oldest energy company in Russia.
